Enduring Charm
This airy hallway was long overdue for a refresh. Its charming cottage-style features and original Italian stone floor provided the ideal inspiration to kick off the design and sourcing process.
We chose a soft, understated palette of blue, grey, and off-white to complement the natural tones of the stone floor.
To add bespoke touches, we partnered with an Italian furniture maker to craft the sideboard and entrance stand, both finished in a refined Agate Grey.
The wallcovering, in shades of old blue and cream, is a washable vinyl with a linen-effect texture—offering a blend of durability and classic elegance. To bring added warmth and comfort to the staircase, we opted for a wool-rich carpet.
To keep within budget, we retained the existing sanitaryware in the guest bathroom and introduced a floral linen wallpaper in beige and old blue, tying it seamlessly into the hallway’s colour scheme.
