Lakeside Luxury
We were presented a wonderful opportunity to transform this beautiful rental apartment with panoramic views overlooking Lake Zurich. The client needed everything, so we set to work to design a luxurious yet practical living space that maximizes comfort, style, and functionality.
We divided the large living area into distinct zones and sourced rugs and furniture from our trusted suppliers across Europe. The colour scheme was inspired by a painting that holds a special significance to the client. We gave it pride of place and made it viewable from all angles, creating a harmonious environment filled with personal charm.
The extendable dining table sourced from Italy, has a beautiful and unusual ceramic marble finish. The dining chairs, from Spain are upholstered in a soft mink fabric with elegant black steel legs.
We created a relaxing coffee and cocktail sitting area overlooking the lake, featuring rotating chairs and a collection of sheepskin ottomans around a marble table. Overhead, we installed a modern ceiling light with amber and smoky shades that casts beautiful shadows on the ceiling.
A dusky pale blue sofa with built-in bed function complements the natural tones throughout the apartment, providing both comfort and practicality. The rug, in matching tones, is soft and luxurious underfoot, enhancing the cosy and cohesive aesthetic of the space.
A whimsical elephant standard lamp graces the corner of the living room, while nesting tables and ottomans in a variety of finishes add charm and versatility to the area.
Easily accessible yet thoughtfully tucked away, we included a workspace—an essential in the present era—offering a functional area that seamlessly integrates into the overall design.
